- Kiyozaburo founded carling store in Iikura-machi in Azabu

- Eitaro Uehara, a successor to Kiyozaburo, moved to current head quarter address
- 1951
- Kawagoeya K.K. was founded with capital of 0.5 million yen
- 1955
- Eiichi Uehara, a successor to Eitaro, became the president

Opened a store in Hihonbashi Takashimaya - 1979
